Charlotte Fleming makes small artwork—paintings, drawings, and prints—from observation, imagination, and curiosity in the everyday. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, she majored in Chinese (Mandarin) at Williams College (2015), taught English through Fulbright in Taiwan (2016-2017), and worked in Communications for an arts & cultural exchange nonprofit, Asian Cultural Council (2017-2022). Primarily an outdoor cat, she’s usually scavenging for coffee, playing ultimate frisbee, or on the prowl for a good tree to sketch.
